Humanoids Don’t Run on Hype – What It Takes to Put a Robot into Production
Humanoid robots are quickly moving from impressive demonstrations to real-world applications. But while a humanoid on stage naturally attracts attention, making its AI work reliably in a real customer environment is a very different challenge.

At NT Conference, Comtrade SI will share the engineering story behind its Unitree G1 deployment and take a closer look at what it takes to turn a humanoid robot from a compelling demo into a useful and dependable system.

The session will explore the technology stack behind the deployment, bringing together onboard software, language models, and on-premises speech transcription and synthesis. The focus will not be on the robot itself, but on the infrastructure and engineering required to make all these components work together reliably.

Building on last year’s Comtrade AI Cloud session, the team will also share practical experience from turning model hosting into a packaged service. GPUs are only the starting point. The architecture, integration and operational processes surrounding them are what make AI usable in real-world environments – especially when the application has a physical body.
The session will also look beyond the current deployment and explore NVIDIA technologies and vision-language-action models as the next step towards autonomous movement. These technologies open new possibilities for robots to understand their environment, make decisions and interact with the physical world more independently.
Bringing a humanoid into an enterprise environment also introduces a different set of practical challenges. Network integration, security and DevOps all become part of the equation when AI systems move beyond the lab and into production.
