Before all, we must know that Azure Monitoring is not the same as Nagios, Zabbix, or similar, which we liked in the past. Although we can get a lot of "old school" monitoring capabilities in Azure, some are not there. But, there are many other features and functionalities that can help us with monitoring and analysis of how our infrastructure works.
