Mitja Kolbe, Director for Business Development and Strategy (SIJI) Mitja Kolbe has an engineering background in process automation and intelligent systems and a master in business administration, backed by experience in sales and marketing, product management, business development and leadership. He has worked for more than 12 years in the IT industry and switched to the steel sector in 2015 by joining SIJ group. His responsibility in SIJ is Business development and strategy, which includes Mergers and acquisitions, an important aspect of the group’s expansion and transformation strategy. Mitja is proud father of three children and an enthusiast recreational athlete with several completed marathons and long triathlons (Ironman).
